Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect the minimum amount of data needed to sell you a $49 product and let you sign in. We don't sell your data, we don't email-spam you, and we don't share anything with casino operators.

1. Who We Are

Shark Bonus operates sharkbonus.co and the Shark Bonus members vault sold via Whop. For privacy questions, email support@sharkbonus.co.

2. What We Collect

When you visit the site: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamp). This is collected automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel) and used for security and basic analytics.

When you purchase: the transaction is processed entirely by Whop. We never see or store your credit card number, billing address, or payment details. Whop shares your purchase status, license key, and Whop user ID with us so we can grant access to the members vault.

When you sign in with Whop: we receive an OAuth access token from Whop, which we use to verify you have an active Shark Bonus membership. The token is stored in a secure, httpOnly cookie on your browser for up to 30 days. We do not access any other data from your Whop account.

When you use the members vault: a small amount of data is stored in your browser's local storage (which bonuses you've marked as claimed, your progress through the database). This never leaves your device.

3. What We Don't Collect

• We do not track you across other websites
• We do not run third-party advertising pixels (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tag)
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any casino, sportsbook, or third party
• We do not collect your real name, address, or phone number
• We do not store payment information of any kind

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the limited data we collect to:

• Verify your purchase and grant access to the members vault
• Keep you signed in across browser sessions
• Respond to support requests and refund inquiries
• Detect fraud, abuse, and credential sharing
• Understand basic site traffic patterns (aggregate only, no individual tracking)

5. Cookies

We use one functional cookie: sb_auth. It's an httpOnly, Secure cookie that stores your Whop authentication token so you stay signed in. It expires after 30 days. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

6. Data Sharing

We share data with exactly two third parties, both of which are required to operate the service:

• Whop — handles all payment processing and authentication. See Whop's privacy policy.
• Vercel — hosts the website and serverless functions. See Vercel's privacy policy.

We do not share your data with any casino, sportsbook, advertising network, data broker, or marketing company. We do not have an email list and we do not send marketing emails.

7. Data Retention

Server logs are retained by Vercel for up to 30 days. Authentication cookies expire after 30 days. Whop retains your purchase records according to their own retention policy. If you request a refund and account deletion, we will revoke your access immediately and ask Whop to delete your associated records.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of that data
• Withdraw consent and revoke your authentication at any time
• File a complaint with a data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email support@sharkbonus.co with your Whop receipt or order ID.

9. Children

Shark Bonus is not intended for anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover that a minor has signed up, we will revoke access and delete the associated data immediately.

10. Security

We use HTTPS across the entire site, store authentication tokens in httpOnly cookies, and do not store any payment data on our own servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow standard practices and rely on Whop and Vercel — both of which maintain industry-standard security certifications — for sensitive operations.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the new version. Material changes will be communicated via the gate screen on the members vault.
